I Learned How To Make gifs!

October 23, 2013

Erik McCormack performing in concert, dressed as Freddie Mercury
(I totally made some gifs from this concert!)

Everything’s going to be a gif now!

(Not really.) However, I do know how to use them for whenever I need them!

On twitter, people were tweeting Debra Messing with pictures of Eric McCormack as Freddie Mercury. She retweeted one. And she retweeted someone else who said they had a better one.

Now, first off, I have the very best one. But I wanted more than to just have the best. So, how I could I beat these people quibbling on twitter over who had the best photo of him?

Well, I could make some gifs of the concert!

I’ve wanted to make gifs in the past, but I heard you needed photoshop, and I thought “oh, forget it!” Then I thought, “since when is there only one way to do something?” And I found out about this little program called GIFBrewery.

Now, that’s what I’m talking about! You give it your little piece of movie, tell it to gif it for you. Easy peasy.

You can even change the look to black and white, comic book, and more.

So, gifs, baby! Now that I know how to make gifs, that also means I finally started my tumblr. (I know it’s something I’m supposed to have (just like all the other internet craziness)… And now I have one… I don’t know what else to do with it except post gifs, but I won’t worry about that now.

Yay gifs!

p.s. In case you were wondering, I did not get any retweets from Debra Messing. I was not named reigning champion of the Eric McCormack non-contest (even though it totally was a contest). Wah wah.

I'd love to hear from you! So whaddya say?
