Kate is someone who works in our office, and that day happened to be her birthday!
Everybody was invited out. So, I went!
I’m counting this as 3 performances, because I did 3 different songs. (Maybe a cheat? Who knows anymore!)
I sang “Let It Go,” which I love (and actually everybody else loved too – not sure if they just liked it ’cause they were drunk or what, but it was nice).
I also sang “Take Me Or Leave Me” with someone from work. I like doing duets, just trying to be a good giver when I’m performing with people (and trying to be comfortable on stage no matter the circumstances).
At the end of the night, I’m saying, “And I am Telling You…” which is a gamble, but it went great!
Basically, we all had a fantastic time! I loved watching my coworkers sing. The guy who ran karaoke was super nice. This was supposed to be just the first time karaoke was done here… We were talking about how we were gonna come back all the time… And alas, they have yet to have it again!
