Anyway, he asked if we had any questions. And no one had any. But that’s a real question! Why wasn’t I thinking of it then? Then again, with the attitude of gratitude, they might not have appreciated the question, thinking, “hey, even if quickie deals do count as your one in three years, be happy you got that.” I have no idea if that would’ve been the answer. But while I still conceivably had a chance to be a contestant, I didn’t want to rock the boat…
(On Price, contestant’s row counts… So, you never know what’s gonna count and what’s not.)
I did meet someone who said she’d heard from someone on the show that if you win your quickie deal, it counts as your one in three years. If you lose, it doesn’t count. I don’t understand why that would be, since either way, you technically play. But if anyone knows definitively, I’d love to know!
One other thing I wonder about the Zonk Redemption episode – since this is the one episode where they know ahead of time which contestants they’re getting, do you think they plan games around people they love? I mean, the first game on this episode was so unbelievably perfect for the people who played it… I wonder. Another Mike Richards question, if I ever meet him!
After the show, we got to grab our speakers on the way out. There wasn’t anything super special about it. You just passed a table, and someone handed one to you.
And that sums up my experience with Zonk Redemption!
If you have answers to any of my questions, or questions of your own, I’d love to hear them in the comments!
