Later on the day of the Museum of Natural History, I took a nice little looong walk with the person I was with. He wouldn’t tell me where we were going…
(The spontaneous side of me loved that, and the super-planner in me couldn’t stand it… Of course, the spontaneous side is a million times bigger, and I had a great time…)
We walked all around New York, and it was quite lovely!
And one of the best little accidents was that we stumbled onto the BioBus!
I’m pretty sure there main goal is to spread science to kids. But on this particular day, they were out and about spreading science to adults as well! We got to go on and play with microscopes, and see things growing in water. It was super cool.
After the BioBus, the big secret place we were going was an amaaaaaaaaazing vegetarian restaurant called Red Bamboo. He found it and took me there. It was the first time I’d ever been and they have fake buffalo wings that are the best I’ve ever tried. I would hiiighly recommend.
And that was our day! A little culture (at the museum), a little exercise (miles around the city), a little science (on the BioBus), a little yummy ([*Homer Simpson voice*] mmmmmm, buffalo wings]).
