So, as I mentioned yesterday, I went down to Cabo with absolutely no plan. I thought I was just headed to Todos Santos for like a little lunch and walking around. I was wearing the same thing I wore most days for my time in Mexico – a bathing suit that doubles as a skirt.
So, that was all I had with me. (Though I did buy a little crocheted bikini top while I was out and about.)
I did not have tennis shoes. I did not come prepared to hike around and zipline and do all of that. But did I care? No, I did not.
Ziplining with Cabo Adventures was on my list of things to do that would probably be fun. So, since my day happened to open up, I headed out in my unprepared way.
We had multiple ziplines throughout the day that we went about in different ways.
Buckle in for a story where I brag a little ’cause I was so proud of myself *blushing face*.
So, the guides were telling us how to go upside down! They’re like “just lean back, kick up your feet, and twirl them around your wire.” Every person who went before me leaned back so hesitantly like they were gonna fall. The guides were ready to very slowly walk me through it when I got up there, but I just whipped my head back, and threw my feet up in the air.
So, then, every time from then on out that we had to do something new (like jumping off a ledge and just swinging around scarily holding onto our rope), they’d be like, “Aurora, you ready to show them how it’s done?”
And then I said, “How do I say, ‘I’m always ready’?” Siempre lista! – My new catch phrase.
I rappelled and did a slight bit of rock climbing in flip-flips or barefoot, hiked around, ziplined around, and had the time of my life all day.
I’d highly recommend zip-lining with Cabo Adventures, and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Siempre Lista! 😉
