I tried to see as much of the city as I could. And I think I ultimately checked off everything from the tourist book.
I went to the Plaza de la Constitucion – just the cute little main plaza area. Saw the Museo Regional de Antropologia E Hostoria, and ran around the museum by myself as I was the only person there that day. It was cool just being immersed in a different country, and seeing signs in Spanish and everything [even if I wished I could read the things I couldn’t! haha]/
Went to El Serpentario de la Paz and saw some of the reptiles and everything. I walked the entire Malecon Alvara Obregon, which is basically like a long boardwalk, that was pretty. I sat on parts of the beach and read.
I went to the different beaches – Playa Pichilingue, Playa Balandra, Playa El Tecolote. I met some cool people in one of the bars there, as you’ve already heard with Gary’s life advice.
And yeah, I just tried to do everything I could while I was there!
