This. Was. Awesome.
I’d read that when down in La Paz/Cabo, you have to go diving in Cabo Pulmo with bull sharks.
So, off I went!
I came woefully underprepared to take any pics or videos underwater, but thankfully one guy in out group had a GoPro, and we were all offering to pay him a little extra or whatever if he’d share the pics/video with us later.
We were the first group out on the water, and there were sharks everywhere. It was totally breathtaking.
…And then the guy lost his GoPro! (Oh no!) I felt so bad for him.
All that beautiful shark footage gone.
I thought the sharks were so awesome and so breathtaking that by the time we got back to land, I asked if I could go back out again to dive with the sharks one more time.
So, I did, and I found someone with a Go Pro who came along, which was cool.
We were warned that as the day wears on, the sharks kind of disperse. So, we didn’t see nearly that many, but I loved swimming around with the ones we did see.
This is an ABSOLUTE must-do in Cabo – and I would totally recommend being on the first boat out, because hopefully you get to see a ton.
The sharks were used to tourists in the area, so they didn’t seems scary or aggressive at all. It was merely breathtaking!
