I was not gonna share this part of the story, but the whole thing there became so messy. [Edited to add: And they may be getting investigated by the FBI.] You can hear this silly part of the story.
So, I like to think I absolutely killed it in the 1st season – just did so well. BUT.
All the editors ended up being let go. We were the most expensive. And they wanted to save the money. So, off we went. I think they were gonna outsource things or whatever.
Well, within a couple weeks of season 2 starting, they asked if I’d come back. I asked for more money, they offered *slightly* more. I said my last offer was making equal to what the editor getting paid the most on season 1 was making. They offered me a little below that and said it was their absolute final offer/the highest they’d go.
I said ‘thanks so much for the offer. I’m sorry though. I can’t go any lower.” And then the next day they were like “okay, we talked it over; we’re gonna give it to you anyway”
Bahahahahahahahahaha. So satisfying!
So, then I was back on, baby!
