I saw a TikTok of a cute little kid rating Emmys dresses.
And I feel like this is how we should always do it?
Too often, I hear people talk about Emmy fashion in ways that’s more about bodies than the dress. But this little girl just noticed all this little stuff… All the little jewelry and stuff. She seemed to think basically everybody was pretty. And even someone making a ‘weird’ face, she didn’t judge it. She just asked if they were asleep! haha
It felt so innocent. And selfishly, I extrapolated it to not just think about Emmy people, but myself. Imagine if we could treat ourselves with this level of excitement and love – happy about our frills and everything!
