While we’re catching up, and talking about performance stuff, let’s talk about when I took UCB in the summer of 2018!
Because of having taken so many improv classes at another theater, I was allowed to come in at UCB 201. I wanted to get more writing/performing in. So, why not?!
I don’t have tons to say about this. (Again, we know, we know. This is why I have to blog in real-time. I’m so sorry!)
But I remember everything feeling VERY chill there. There’s not the vibe of “oh my goodness, we’re in a cut program.” [Groundlings] People like to hang out in the cafe, and that’s fine.
It’s just a veeeeery relaxed vibe.
Good classmates, good teacher, fun show. And of course I ‘passed’, as there is no real passing/failing at this place haha (well, until… I think the end; so we’ll see if I get all the way there and how I feel about it then!).
