Picking up from yesterday –
I hate to admit it. It’s pretty embarrassing to me that after editing on a number of shows – and some impressive ones! – I had a tough time finding a job after I came back to LA.
A working hypothesis is that maybe a lot of the people I knew here thought of me as an assistant editor, and it was hard to get them to see me differently.
But I was struggling, and needed another job.
I loved the ease of night AEing, and the vibe of the people I interviewed with. So, I tucked my tail between my legs to night AE on a silly reality show.
And this is where we’ll pick up next time!
